Propagation of a high-current relativistic electron beam (REB) in Xenon was studied. The dependence of the electron beam current on the gas pressure in the range of 1 - 750 Tor was measured along a chamber, as well as an energy deposited into the gas. The experimental data on the beam transportation are in good agreement with that of calculations at low (1 - 24 Tor) and high (~ 750 Tor) pressure. Data of experiments on the energy deposit well coincide with calculations results in all the pressure range.
