Microvawe discharge interation with ceramics was experimentally studed. Discharge was generated at a definite site of ceramics by laser beam, focused at specimen, placed into a microvawe cavity. Magneton was used for microvawe generation with power 800 W at wavelength 12.5 cm. Niodim YAG laser, operated in Q-mode, was used for generation of radiation with wavelength l=1,063 mm or forth harmonic l=0,266 mm. In both cases material removal was measured from a spot, marked by the laser beam. Additionally, effect of enhanced material removal from dielectric surface was observed when the laser beam passed through a water layer.
