The computer-aided design of "gridded" electron guns is conducted on the base of two, two and half and three-dimensional mathematical models. The parameters of cathode-grid assembly (CGA) are calculated, synthesis and the trajectory analysis of a diode gun are carried out. The trajectory analysis of beam in CGA cells is realized, the coordinates, velocities and charges of large particles on an exit from CGA cells serve the initial data for solving beam motion equations in the gun and further in magnet focusing system. Electron-optical systems, designed through the complex of programs, ensure good (90-97 %) current permeability in microwave tubes.
