The review data give the insight to composition and properties of liquid cooling agents for laser, light and TV techniques. The results of investigation into optothermodynamical and physical-chemical processes into liquids absorbing the power broadband radiation are presented. The new method of critical state diagnostics of such liquids and solutions is described too. The researches of spectral-luminescent phenomena in liquids operating into laser systems allow to markedly increase the efficiency and service life of Nd lasers.
