1—11 mm optical code sensor with Gray Code system

   1—11 mm optical code sensor with Gray Code system based on miniaturized Photoconductive Mercury-Cadmium Telluride (PC MCT) detector with three-stage thermoelectric cooler (TEC) has been developed and fabricated. Performance of PC MCT detector is presented evidencing good detectivity D* and responsivity Rv values in spectral range from 1.0 to 10.6 mm. Sensitive area structure allows producing of four digits Gray Code. Sensor can be used in electro-optical systems for spatial recognition of powerful sources of coherent infrared radiation.
