Current state and outlook of IR photoelectronics development

   It was assayed state of creating and producing of infra red (IR) photodetectors and photodetector assemblies. Tendencies in the field of further evolution of semiconductor material science for IR photodetectors had been examined. It was considered possibility of broadening of photodetector assemblies’ functionality and ways of development of this industry.
