New mechanism is suggested for generation of hard x-ray radiation at the interaction of atomic clusters with intense femtosecond laser pulses. Electrons which are ejected from the cluster due to outer ionization, can get again inside the neighboring cluster interacting with the Coulomb field of positively charged cluster produced by outer ionization. During the transition from continuum to the ground state in this Coulomb field, electrons emit spontaneously photons with the energy of several keV.
