Possibilities to optimize multycharched ion source on the based of lowinductive vacuum spark discharge

   Comparison of registrated parameters of low current and high current low inductive vacuum spark (LIVS) discharges is fulfilled. It is demonstrated that physical processes proceeding in both low current and high current LIVS discharges are similar. Possibilities to optimize LIVS discharges in the role of multycharged ion sources are found out.
