Power controlled thyristor—transistor switches

   Basic circuits of the controlled thyristor—transistor switches are presented. Transition of the devices from on to off states are examined. The peculiarities of the control operation are noted. Re-gimes of the switching of composite transistor are examined. Perspectives of the switches for advanced electric equipment are discussed.
