The idea discussed in this article is based on the thermoelectric cooler is used as the working effect of
the anisotropy of the thermopower. This idea is not new. In the second half of the last century it is very intense and space
to explore the possibility of application of this anisotropy for the construction of thermoelectric power generators. This paper presents
the theory of anisotropic thermoelectric cooler, which side faces adiabatically isolated from the external environment. Such a fridge could
be used for cooling of microelectronic devices, i. e., those that emit negligible amount of heat. A distinctive feature of the cooler
compared with conventional Peltier refrigerator is that it is easier to design and technological terms. The author calculated a possible
reduction in temperature and obtained the variant of the design of the refrigerator.
