The history of creating native flying laboratories intended for research of characteristics of ballistic rocket torches infrared radiation

The necessity of research of ballistic rockets torches optical radiation characteristics and the expediency of such research conducting at the side of aircraft laboratories by real starting are given.
Article maintains short information on spectrometers and radiometers developed for completion of flying laboratories, which functioned from 1985 to 1994. General characteristics of fulfilled research and obtained experimental materials are given. Article also maintains analysis of main governing laws of ballistic rockets torches infrared radiation determinate during the flying research and demonstrates the necessity of resumption of this research.
