CONCENTRATION OF CHARGE CARRIERS IN THE METASTABLE PLASMA WITH STRONG COULOMB’S COUPLING

Conditions for the transition of expanding plasma cloud into the state with strong Coulomb coupling are discussed. An efficient method for the reduction of many-electron distribution functions to the one-electron function is presented, and concentration of free charge carriers in the strongly coupled state is found. Attention is drawn to some interesting analogies with properties of degenerate Fermi-gas.
