Thermal modes calculation of multilayer photodetector structures (MFS) is a critical point in the devices development and optimization of the device design. Problem of development of thermal models MFS and effective numerical techniques of calculation of thermal modes MFS thus is actual. For modeling of thermal modes MFS the generalized multilayer thermal models have been developed. The finite element method (FEM) is used to calculate thermal modes MFS. Software package FIELDMFS for thermal fields calculation in MFS with arbitrary geometry, arrangement of heat release sources, thermal and physical parameters of layers was developed. Using the developed method and software package the temperature fields of the IR spectral range photodetector were calculated.
