The employement scheme of a magnetic calorimeter for registration of rare events of an elementary particle physics and problem solving of applied character is suggested. In the offered scheme the detector is activated by known in engineering of low temperatures method of an adiabatic demagnetization, and the magnetic response is measured by a quantum interferometer. The features of operation of the detector are considered in the region of ferromagnetic transition. The way of selection of events with using of major times of spin-lattice relaxation of a paramagnetic material is suggested. The method of detection of supersmall energies release in a metastable state of the system with second-kind transition is described.
