To the development of the calculating methods for optical systems

   The paper presents the condition of point focusing the wide nonmonochromatic light beam in a spectral range within which the dependencies of refractive indices on the n(l) wavelength of used optical materials can be considered as the line ones. The application of the obtained condition for achromatizing the high — power optical systems by means of asphe- rizing the lens surfaces is shown.
