The given publication is devoted to research of influence of design data and voltage for pulse cesium sources with a sapphire cover on them modulation characteristics at following combinations of parameters for energization of lamps: average frequencies of current impulses up to f =1.0 kHz and consumed electric power up to P = 3 kW for the 3—5 µm spectral range; f =1.0—8.0 kHz and P up to 1.0 kW for the 0.8—2.7 µm spectral range. Recommendations on the further improvement of the modulation characteristics of lamps are given.
