Electromagnetic and electro-optic properties of periodic slow-wave structures can be calculated by finite-difference methods. It includes numerical determanation off Laplacian eigen-values and eigen-functions which satisfy certain boundary conditions and aberration theory based calculation of electron trajectories in the found field. Test calculations of the comb structure were held and its deflection properties were investigated. It is shown that maximum defletion sensitivity is reached when the electron beam vecocity and the wave phase vecocity are approximately equal but do not coincide. The obtained results give the approach to numerical calculation of Three-diminsional periodic slow-ware structures.
