The basic tendencies of modern image intensiefiers development are: a considerable rise of foreign 3-rd generation parameters level, including the creation of extended near IR intensifiers, development of 2+ generation to Super Gen and expantion of the image intensufiers possibility by electronic and computer processing of the image in devices with "hand-off" display (4-th generation). As an example of such devices day/night 3D (stereo) color televized observation system developed joint by "NPO "ORION" and "OREX" is described.
