The hand-held thermal camera for a wide range of applications is developed. The basic characteristics of the camera are given. The results of testing for different areas of application are circumscribed. The camera is very simple and reliable means for holding saving and emergency operations, and also for operative monitoring of technical condition of different object and equipment.
