RELEASE OF LATENT HEAT AS A MECHANISM
OF THE SELF-MAINTENANCE OF GAS VORTEX FLOW

          Axisimmetric gas vortex flow is considered. Release of latent heat influence on the vorticity of flow is investigated in conditions in which Boussinesq approximation is valid. It is shown that in linear approach ratio of increase of kinetic energy of azimuthal motion to released latent heat is proportional to square of flow vorticity. The ratio may make up some per cent for tornado and plasma toroidal vortex.
