The nanosecond pulse generator for excitation copper vapor lasers is described, in which DC supply, capacity ~3 kW, are executed under the circuit of the single-cycle resonant converter with use of modern semi-conductor element base. As the switchboard is used ТГИ 2-1000/25. Loading of the generator can be served with all types self-heating discharge tube of a series "Kulon". The maximal current of the category, formed by the generator through discharge tube, ~500 A at duration on the basis not less than 90 ns, frequency of following of pulses is adjusted within the limits of 8-17 kHz. The maximal capacity of radiation is received on "Kulon" LT-10 CU and makes 15 W. Structurally generator and discharge tube are executed as the block with dimensions of 1250х330х190 mm.
