The Experimental Production of the All-Russian Research Center of the All-Russian Electrotechnical Institute, Istra, Russia

   The basic performances of the GTM-200 kA generator of lightning currents which has been designed and manufactured by the All-Russian Research Center (the Istra city) of the All-Russian Electrotechnical Institute are given in the paper. The generator is intended for full scale trials of different inventory on stability at a head-on impact of a lightning. The complex consisting of four generators ensures shaping a four-component current pulse on the test plant.
