State and perspectives of developments of chilled IR focal plane arrays for a dual purpose at the Electron Central Research Institute

Surveyed is the state of developments of monolithic silicon IR focal plane arrays with Schottky barriers, photodetector devices, and digital thermal-imaging devices at the Electron Central Research Institute. The basic parameters of the 256x256 / 512x512 IR focal plane arrays and the thermal-imaging devices on its base are given in the paper. Marked are the problems, arising at transition from 3—5 mkm devices to development of such receivers for the long-wave area of a spectrum.
