Voltage of the static electric gas breakdown in free electrons presence into a discharge interval

U. Yusupaliev

Dependence of an electric gas breakdown voltage from product of the distance d between the anode and the cathode and the gas pressure р in presence of a constant external ionizer in a discharge interval has been defined within the limits of the avalanche discharges theory. Considered is the case, when the spatial charge, created by the external ionizer, does not deform an electric field in the discharge interval. At absence of an external ionizer the received dependence is reduced to the known expression for a voltage of the gas breakdown (Pashen’s law). PACS: 52.80.-s
