The acticle themal protection system of hypersonic apparatus designed in accordance with "AYAX" conception with an endothermic process of thermochemical hydrocarbon transmutation is considered. Researhing the interaction hypersonic gas flow with a flyng apparatus element is distiguished characteristic regions for which the calculation of gas flow is carried out, the thermochemical reactor characteristics are found.
